Omega-3, DHA, EPA…do these terms ring a bell?
Omega 3 fatty acids are a class of fatty acids that are typically found in fish oils. They are of great importance for human health, but technically, the human body can’t independently produce them. 3. EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid)- This type of essential fatty acid is typically found in animal products including but not limited to fatty fish, fish oil, and other microalgae. Many studies have revealed that EPA is the most important of the omega-3 fatty acids due to its capability of potentially reducing the cellular inflammation of the body.
